Mission:
W.O.R.L.D. Academy empowers multilingual global citizens who are rooted in their identities, connected to their communities, and prepared to engage thoughtfully with the world. Through inclusive, rigorous, and project-based learning, W.O.R.L.D. Academy cultivates Wisdom, Opportunity, Roots, Language, Discovery, and Global Citizenship, ensuring every student develops the academic skills, cultural competence, and social-emotional strength needed to thrive.

Vision:
Students leave W.O.R.L.D. Academy prepared to thrive as global citizens—grounded in their
identity, fluent across two languages, skilled in collaboration, and driven to create positive
change. They carry the values of Wisdom, Opportunity, Roots, Language, and Discovery into
adulthood as leaders who explore, question, and contribute to a better world.

W.O.R.L.D. Academy is a multilingual, project-based K–8 public charter school preparing students to thrive in an interconnected world. We believe multilingualism is an asset and that learning should be public, personal, and purposeful. Through immersive language learning and authentic, real-world projects, students build strong academic foundations, confidence, leadership, and a deep sense of identity and belonging.

Created in response to a clear need in North Las Vegas for schools that honor students’ identities while delivering rigorous, meaningful learning, W.O.R.L.D. Academy integrates multilingual education, project-based learning, restorative practices, environmental stewardship, and social-emotional development to nurture the whole child.

At W.O.R.L.D. Academy, families are valued partners, culture is celebrated, and students learn by doing—developing the knowledge, character, and global perspective to lead in their communities and beyond.
