Legal Prep Charter Academy uses its unique law-themed curriculum and culture of high expectations to cultivate compassion, self-motivation, and reflection in young adults from traditionally underserved communities, preparing them to succeed at outstanding four-year colleges and universities.

Vision:

Legal Prep’s vision is to offer a rigorous college-prep curriculum that includes the core courses of English, math, science, social studies, and foreign language, supplemented with our award-winning legal programming. Our students will develop the skills that all great lawyers possess: excellent written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and advocacy, and will graduate with the mindset and tools to become the next generation of lawyers and leaders in their communities and their professions.

Legal Prep Charter Academy is a free, open-enrollment public charter school network founded in Chicago and now expanding to Las Vegas. Our schools combine rigorous academics with an immersive law-themed program that connects students to real attorneys, judges, and business professionals. Through partnerships with local firms, corporate legal departments, universities, and civic organizations, students gain hands-on experience in legal reasoning, debate, and civic leadership while developing the social-emotional and academic skills necessary for college and career success.
