Legal Prep Charter Academy
| Position | Building on the success of Legal Prep Charter Academy in Chicago, Legal Prep is preparing to open a new campus in Las Vegas in the fall of 2027 that will serve students in grades 6 - 12. The school will serve as a bridge for students and families, preparing young scholars with rigorous academics and unique law-themed programming that introduces them to critical thinking, advocacy, and real-world connections. Our goal is to meet the needs of Las Vegas students and families by fostering equitable opportunities, supporting community growth, and ensuring every child is prepared for post-secondary success. Legal Prep is gathering a team of dedicated and motivated individuals to help make this vision a reality. The Committee to Form will help develop our charter application for submission in the spring of 2026, including substantial community engagement and outreach over the next six months. While not required, members of the Committee to Form will be encouraged to join the school's governing board after approval. |
