| Our board | We are seeking visionary, action-oriented leaders for our board who believe in economic mobility through education. Our ideal board members combine deep commitment to educational equity with professional expertise in the following:

| Meetings | Our board meets monthly, currently via Zoom, with quarterly in-person meetings at our permanent school location (2401 E. Tonopah Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030). |

| Responsibilities | Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, serve on at least one committee, participate in recruitment and community outreach events, review financial statements, and help steward the school’s mission. Members should commit 5-7 hours monthly to board activities. |

| Giving | While we don't have a specific give/get policy, board members are expected to make a meaningful annual contribution according to their means and help identify potential funding sources. |

| Development | New board members receive a comprehensive orientation including school model training, charter school governance, and financial oversight. Ongoing professional development occurs quarterly. |
