Crown Academy

Mission:
Through the LEAD Model: Leadership, Engagement, Achievement, and Discovery, Crown Academy empowers middle school students to lead with confidence, engage meaningfully with their community, achieve academic excellence, and discover their passions, strengths, and potential for success in high school and college.

Vision:
Crown Academy envisions a community where every student is known, challenged, supported, and empowered to become a confident leader, successful learner, and engaged member of their community. Students will leave Crown Academy prepared academically and personally to succeed in high school, pursue college and career opportunities, and positively influence the communities they serve.

Crown Academy is a proposed public charter middle school being developed to serve students and families in Las Vegas, with an intentional focus on communities throughout west and central Las Vegas.

Crown Academy began with a simple but powerful belief: every student deserves a middle school where they are known, challenged, supported, and empowered to lead.

Our educational model is built around the LEAD Model: Leadership, Engagement, Achievement, and Discovery. Leadership development will be intentionally integrated throughout the student experience. Students will develop the confidence and skills to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, solve problems, set goals, advocate for themselves and others, make responsible decisions, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Crown Academy will pair high academic expectations with strong relationships and meaningful student support. We envision a school culture where students are known by the adults who serve them, families are genuine partners, educators maintain high expectations, and students develop a strong sense of belonging.
